Synopsis: When her fiancé Rob breaks off their engagement for the third time, Viv does what any girl would do - she Googles heartbreak.

Confronted by tales of misery, she decides to set-up her own self-help website for the broken-hearted. But as Viv passes through the three essential stages of grief (denial, vodka, disastrous haircut), she becomes determined that it's not too late to try and get Rob back.

When things get out of hand after a drunken declaration of love at an extremely inappropriate moment, Viv's scruffy, tequila-swilling best friend Max is there to pick up the pieces. Viv starts to realise that maybe the real thing has been under her nose all this time, and now - one ex and a massive error of judgement later - she has to face the question:

What's the craziest thing you'll do for love?

What I Thought:

This book is amazing!  Viv won me over really quickly.  I hated how much she hurt because of that jerk Rob.  I really wanted her to shake off the funk she was in and move on.  I did laugh at her antics while she sorted herself out.  Some of them were classic, ones we're all guilty of doing or thinking, and others just made me sad.

The story itself is really good.  Of course it takes lots of things working together to make a great book, but the characters are great, the plot is interesting, and I thought this was a fresh take on a love story.  I especially loved how Viv turned to the media and internet to try and fix her mistake.  I can sympathize with her since she did something wild to get back the man she loved, but I've never done anything as big as she has.  Max is a man I'd like to take out of the pages of this book and insert into my life.  He's pretty awesome.

Emma Garcia's debut book is fabulous.  It's funny, sometimes emotional, and always entertaining.  It's a book I read in a couple of hours just because I couldn't bear to put it down.  There's a sequel that just came out last month, OMG Baby!, that I can't wait to read.  I expect more drama and comedy from them.  I'm so glad I read this book.  I think Emma's got a long career ahead of her and I can't wait to read her books!
