I am a huge fan of Beverley Kendall and her books. She's one of those authors I can't believe more people don't rave about or even know about. If you've ever read a Beverley Kendall book you'll know and agree with what I've said. I've already read the book and can tell you it's fantastic!

In the air-conditioned entryway,
we’re lined up like opposing teams on a scrimmage line, Trent beside me on one
side and Mitch facing us on the other

Oblivious to the turmoil going on
around her and content in my arms, Bree grasps a hank of my hair and lays her
