Book
Summary:
Being
stuck in the godforsaken desert is Adrian Blake’s worst nightmare come true.
Senior year is all about making fun memories. It’s not about starting over at a
new school and navigating a new Brady Bunch family. It’s really not about
living with a sexy, arrogant would-be stepbrother who knows how to push her
buttons.
Alex
Montgomery is the very definition of a player. The only thing he commits to is
a one night stand. He’s exactly the kind of guy she hates. When she sleeps
with him, it’s the biggest mistake of her life. Now she can’t stop thinking
about him. Not at school. Not at home.
Sometimes the best mistakes are the ones that you make over and over again…

There's nothing better than reading a book and having it blow you away. Especially when you go into it knowing very little about the author and book. It's almost like discovering something no one else has yet and you want to grab everyone you pass and tell them about your amazing discovery. That's how I felt when I finished reading Reason and Romance.
I love a book that will grab my attention in the first few initial pages and then not let it go. I really loved Adrian's character. She's trying to deal with a lot, uprooting her whole life, moving to a new place, starting senior year at a new school, and trying to figure out a new family dynamic. I was really sympathetic to her. I did think she over did things sometimes, but it worked out in the overall scheme of things. It definitely provided me and everyone else around her with lots of entertainment.
Adrian had to learn that not everything was the way she seemed. I loved her chemistry with Alex. I was a little hesitant about him, because it was never really clear about what he was thinking or wanted. He did have his moments though. I will admit to relishing the drama and Adrian's in your face attitude.
I also loved how real Jenn Young kept the story. It wasn't just all about the high school drama, but also about two families finding a way to become one. There was unrest between the soon to be step-siblings. I liked how she showed the tension between Alex's parents. The story did end on sort of a cliff hanger and I can honestly tell you I can not wait to read it! I'm really glad I read this book. I look forward to reading more from Jenn Young.
