Blog Tour: Review and Giveaway for Razed by Shiloh Walker

I fell in love with the Barnes brothers in Wrecked, Zach's book.  I'm was ecstatic when Shiloh told her readers all the hunky brothers would be getting their own time to shine in the spotlight.  You can see why I loved this book so much and enter to win a signed copy of Wrecked and a gift card!

About RAZED:
Tattoo artist Keelie Jessup can handle that someone else has claimed the man of her dreams. She’s just not pleased with her remaining options…
Keelie doesn’t believe in the “perfect man.” But the men who are worth the trouble are usually taken—like her business partner Zach Barnes. After a string of bad luck and the lost chance with Zach, Keelie decides that maybe flying solo—and living with suppressed desires—is the key to happiness.

As a photographer, Zane Barnes has an eye for the human form, and his eyes can’t get enough of Keelie’s curves. Unfortunately, Keelie is like most women—always fawning over his little brother, Zach. Zane is about ready to give up, but then a few stolen moments at his brother’s wedding have him thinking maybe there’s a chance there after all. Now he just has to prove that the perfect man does exist…for her.

★★★★★ stars

Shiloh Walker has done it again.  She made me fall in love with a character I didn't know I was going to be able to like giving what I knew about them.  Plus the story she wrote mesmerized, entertained, and devastated me.  I wasn't surprised I was left wanting to read more when the book was finished. Not in a "this story in incomplete way", but in a "I love this and want more" kind of way.

This book features Keelie and Zane, Zach's eldest brother.  When I last met Keelie she was the cause of a problem in a serious romantic relationship that messed up a lot of people.  Friends became distant and lovers grew worried. While I felt sorry for her and sort of angry as well, I was surprised to see how much she'd changed.  And Zane?  He just made my panties melt.  There is something really sexy about a guy who knows what he wants and is willing to be patient and pursue her by wooing her (in this case).  I loved Zane.  I loved his attitude, his body, and how patient he was with Keelie. I was surprised by the hidden depths of both characters. I was sad and pissed off, but so happy they were finding ways to deal with everything they'd been through. I wasn't just infuriated, I was hurt, and baffled too.  My cryptic description will make sense when you read the book.

I love how Shiloh incorporated all of the Barnes brothers and family into this book and even the people at the tattoo shop.  I loved seeing Zach and Amanda again.  The beauty is that this book can be read as a stand alone, but even as someone who was familiar with the characters, I still wanted to go back and re-read Wrecked and I can't wait for the next brother's story!  Shiloh has certainly one upped herself when it comes to her contemporary novels.  I laughed, gasped, cried, but loved it all.  It's superbly written and provides a love story I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
