What I Thought:
Whoa. Occasionally I'll do things on a whim just to shake things up. Sometimes it's try a new food, wear something I normally wouldn't, or try a book I might not have read. There was something about this book that caught my eye and I knew once I started reading I'd made the right choice.
Initially I was a little confused as to why "Red" was on the run and so scared. She kept hinting at something horrible that had happened and I wasn't sure what it was. I was gladdened when "Blackie/Black" saved her. It turns out that was just the prologue. When chapter one started, many of my questions were answered. Especially when it became clear Talia, or Red as I knew her, had a soft spot for the her unknowing savior and runs into him. "Black" or Sebastian is melt your underwear hot. Seriously.
I loved the interaction between them. I also loved the mystery and intrigue. I'm really looking forward to seeing Talia and Sebastian dance around each other. I'm also looking forward to finding out the connection between Talia's past and what's going on at her college. The story is intense and really hot. I read it in almost no time and didn't put it down once. I can not wait to read the next installments to find out what's going on with Talia and Sebastian.
