Review

★★★★ 1/2 stars

I've been looking forward to the conclusion of this series for some time. Courtney and Josh have been through so much over the years they've been skating together. They've face both personal and professional challenges and as their career comes to a close, they've got one last shot an Olympic medal but they've got Nationals to clear before they get there.

I really liked seeing how things wrapped up for Courtney and Josh both personally and professionally. I loved the details shared about their routines and the practices. I also enjoyed how rivalries were shown, it all felt very realistic. I would've loved for a more idyllic ending with everything wrapped up neatly with a bow or a gold medal or two in this case, but I loved how Jennifer Comeaux kept the story true to both Courtney and Josh's capabilities.

I loved seeing Em and Sergei, Chris and Ashley, and their kids. It felt like visiting old friends after being away for a while. I was very excited to see things between Courtney and Stephanie were slowly improving, but at the same time disappointed to see not much had changed for the elder Tuckers. I love how Jennifer Comeaux really tapped into Josh and Courtney's feelings. I felt like I was able to experience every nervous flutter, every fall, and every triumph as if it was my own.  I'm not ready to say goodbye to Courtney and Josh yet so I hope to see them in Jennifer's upcoming books.
